Personal
A Pacific Northwest native, Nolan has grown up with Insurance. His mother, Gail, also an agent with FirstMark, has been in the insurance industry her entire life, and thus Nolan has found it to be a natural fit. He loves coaching, not only in the insurance trade which can be a maze to navigate without a guide, but also in his free time. He has been a swim and track coach at nearby Edmonds-Woodway High School for 6 years now. Coaching is certainly one of his primary passions outside of work.

A graduate of local King’s High School as well as the University of Washington, Nolan found his way to FirstMark after spending some time as a math teacher. While he still enjoys math in his free time, he finds advising and coaching his clients with their insurance needs to be much more rewarding.
 
In his free time, Nolan trains for triathlons and spends a lot of time running around the Edmonds and Shoreline areas. You can find him open water training in the nearby lakes and kayak fishing in the sound. When he wants to get away, he heads for his family cabin on Harstine Island where he fishes, hikes, and barbecues as often as he can.
